Kaitlin Bigelow

Kaitlin Bigelow

Funeral Director & Embalmer

Kaitlin Bigelow is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in Vermont with an Associates Degree in Applied Science, Funeral Service, from Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service.

Kaitlin grew up right here in Northern Vermont, in the town of Georgia directly next to Milton. She graduated from Bellows Free Academy High School, Saint Albans in 2013.

She has had a desire to work in funeral service since she was around 15 years old. She was eager to work and got her first job at 14 and spent her late teens to mid-twenties gaining ~12 years of customer service and management experience before being blessed with the opportunity to follow her true calling of funeral service.

After losing many people close to her, her dream of becoming a funeral director was only strengthened. Her goal and drive for this industry was to treat every person that she is privledged to serve as she would want her own family members taken care of and provide that comfort and peace to their surviving loved ones.

Her belief is that families entrusting us with their loved one is the utmost privilege and honor we can recieve. She wants the families to be able to feel some of the burden of pressure, stress and grief to be lifted and know that they have someone in their corner to rely on, trust and a shoulder to lean on during some of the most difficult times of their life.

When Kaitlin isn't at the funeral home, she spends most of her time writing poetry or music. While funeral service is her main passion, music is a very close second and on her days off you might spot her at the local concert venues in or out of state.

Kaitlin plans to continue to serving the community that she grew up in and loves deeply.
