Wesley Edward Coleman, Jr.

Wesley Edward Coleman Jr., 90, of South Hero, VT passed away peacefully, March 24, 2022 at home. Wesley was born on July 9, 1931 in Montclair, NJ, the Son of Wesley Coleman Sr. and Anne (McDonough) Coleman. He married Helen Rech on May 29, 1959 Irvington, NJ. Wesley owned a repair shop in Glen Ridge, NJ. After selling the repair shop, Wes became a tool and equipment dealer, first for Snap-on Tools, then Matco Tools. He then started " Automotive Technology Resources" with his late son, Steve. He finished his working career at the Mechanics Education Center. He became " The Industry Expert", by being published in numerous automotive magazines, something he was proud of. Mr. Coleman was a man who balanced work and his personal life. He loved woodworking and was also an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time on Lake Champlain on his boat. He is survived by: his three children, Glenn Coleman and his wife Laura, of Chester, NJ, John Coleman and his wife Kelly, of Long Valley, NJ, Karen Sadles and her husband Richard, of Poquoson, VA; his 7 grandchildren, Jacqueline, Allison, Gabrielle, Caroline, Johnny, Triston and Sean; his sister Nancy Zehnbauer of Clinton, NJ and many lifetime friends with a lifetime of memories. He is predeceased by his spouse, Helen Coleman; father, Wesley Coleman Sr.; mother, Anne McDonough and his son Steven Coleman. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, March 27, 3PM - 5PM. in the Minor Funeral Home 237 Rt 7 S, Milton, VT. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday Mach 28, 11:30 AM in St. Rose of Lima Church, South Hero, VT. Burial will be private.
