Obituary of Steve Allen Hebert


So Hero - Steve Allen Hebert, 60, died peacefully on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, following a courageous battle with Esophageal Cancer.
Steve was born in Torrington, Connecticut on November 9, 1959, the son of Paul and Charlotte (Horton) Hebert.
He was joined in marriage by his best friend David on July 6, 2002 in Georgia.
Steve enjoyed gardening and canning vegetables. He loved riding his Harley and loved taking care of everything. He loved Cher, earrings, animals, the ocean and fireworks.
He loved to cook big meals and feed people.
He had worked for IBM for many years and had owned his own Dog Grooming Business for several years at the Creek Farm Plaza.
In addition to David, he is survived by his brother Arthur Hebert and his wife Carolyn and his sister Diane Blake, Ben and their families, his cherished nieces, nephews and extended families, all of CT. He is also survived by David's mother Betty and his siblings Sally, Wayne, Randy and Denise and their families.
He was predeceased by his parents, his brother Ben and his younger brother Paul Hebert Jr.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday November 8, 2020 from 2 to 3pm at the Minor Funeral and Cremation Center in Milton.
A Memorial Service will follow at 3pm Sunday afternoon at the Funeral Home.
A special thank you to Bayada and the UVM Miller 5 Hospice Team and to our guardian angels Jake West and Aunt Brenda for getting Steve to all of his appointments.
