Sheila Bearor, a beloved matriarch, devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2025, at the University of Vermont Medical Center, after a courageous battle with declining health. Born on March 18, 1955, in Burlington, Vermont, Sheila was a beacon of light for all who knew her, with a contagious smile that brightened the lives of family and friends alike.

Sheila enjoyed a fulfilling career, recently employed at Twin Craft, where she made lasting friendships and embraced her role with dedication and warmth. After stepping into retirement, she found joy in the simple pleasures of life, indulging in hobbies such as fishing, sewing, and shopping for others. Her selflessness and unwavering love for her family always came first, a reflection of her strong-willed yet caring nature.

Sheila's educational journey took her through the schools of Milton, where she forged the characteristics that defined her life: resilience, generosity, and a zest for living. Her laughter and spirit were infectious, creating memories etched in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her.

She leaves behind her beloved husband, Donald Bearor; her devoted children, Peter Bearor and his partner Tonda Myers, Carla Fitzgerald and her husband Sean, and Jill Aldridge and her husband Greg. Sheila's legacy lives on through her adored grandchildren, Evan, Dylan, Chelsey, Aiden, Rachael, Kloe, and Jonah, who will forever cherish her loving embrace and nurturing guidance.

Sheila is also survived by her loving siblings, Nancy Turner and her husband Don Turner, Sr., Sally Ryan and her husband Billy, Judy Noel and her husband Ronald, and Pamela Duffy and her husband James, Steven Underwood and his wife Pat, her step siblings Lorraine Turner and Aileen Wagner. Together, they carry forth the memory of a sister who fiercely loved and supported them throughout her life. She is also survived by her brother in law Walter Cross and her sister in law Nancy Underwood and many nieces and nephews.

Sheila was preceded in death by her parents, Alson Underwood and Emily Wagner, as well as her siblings Fred Underwood and Betty Cross. Their spirits surely welcome her with open arms, rejoicing in the reunion with a woman who embodied kindness and love.

As friends and family gather to remember Sheila Bearor, they will celebrate a life well-lived, a woman who taught them the importance of family, generosity, and the joy of living life to the fullest.
