Shawn Metivier, a beloved son, brother, and a beacon of charm and charisma, passed away on November 25, 2024, at his home. Born on July 30, 1981, in the picturesque town of Burlington, Vermont, Shawn's journey through life was marked by a spirit that drew people towards him and an innate ability to leave a lasting impression.

In his life, Shawn proudly held the title of owner of Curb Appeal Property Maintenance, where his dedication and strong work ethic were evident in every project he undertook. His craftsmanship not only transformed landscapes but also showcased his commitment to quality and detail.

Beyond his career, Shawn’s heart beat with passion for the finest things in life, and was a devoted fan of the Green Bay Packers. There was something special about his infectious laughter and the twinkle in his eye when savoring exquisite meals and donning his stylish attire, confidently embracing every occasion with a flair that was uniquely his own. Shawn also had an obsession for his car, known as "Lead-Fut".

Shawn cherished his family deeply, leaving behind a legacy of love and memories. He is survived by his devoted parents, Sandra (Meunier) and David Metivier; his brother, Chad Metivier; and his half brothers, David and Dana Metivier. He is also survived by a very large extended family and his dog Rio. Each of them holds treasured moments of joy and laughter that will forever echo in their hearts.

As we celebrate the vibrant life of Shawn Metivier, let us remember the warmth he spread, the gatherings where his laughter mingled with heartfelt conversations, and his endless pursuit of beauty in simplicity. While the world is dimmer without his light, the echoes of his love and the memories we carry of him will continue to brighten our days. Rest softly, dear Shawn, knowing you are surrounded by the love you so freely gave.
