It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Sarah Ann Shortsleeve, a kind and compassionate soul, who left this world on February 21st, 2024.

Born in Underhill, VT, on December 4, 1958, to Maurice Parent and Phyllis Parent (Hall) Sarah was known for her unwavering dedication to caring for others and her love for cooking and baking for her family, friends, coworkers and neighbors.
 
 Throughout her life, Sarah wore many hats, including working in many retail establishments, University of Vermont Medical Center Environmental Services. Sarah was dedicated to her work up until two weeks before her passing she worked at the Simons convenience store in Winooski, where she made many friends for life.  Her selfless nature and willingness to help others endeared her to all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and generosity that will be remembered by all those whose lives she touched.
 
 Sarah is survived by her children; Amy (Randy) Mathieu, Brendalee (Tommy) Gregory, and Jomarie (Eddie) Marshall, mother; Phyllis Hall, grandchildren; Kelsie Gagne (Christopher), Keara Mathieu, Brandon Shortsleeve, Bradley Senna, Brittany Peet, Micah Peet and Ava Gregory, great-grandchildren; Josslynn Gagne, Oliver Gagne, Amelia Senna, Adaleigh Meyers, and Lydia Meyers, special friend; Michael Ziter, furry companion; Paul, siblings; three brothers and two sisters as well as many other family members and friends.

She is predeceased by her late husband; Randy B Shortsleeve father; Maurice J Parent Sr., Mother in-law; Mary Shortsleeve Father in-law; Raymond Shortsleeve, and her brother Stephen Parent.
 
 Visiting Hours will be held on Thursday, February 29
th, 2024, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm with refreshments and snacks for guests are all invited to immediately after. All services will be held at the Minor Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Milton.

A very special thanks to all the staff on Miller 5 at the University of Vermont Medical Center, the care you took while Sarah was in your care will never be forgotten.
