Roy A. Lavigne, Jr.

Milton, VT--Roy A. Lavigne Jr., 85, passed away June 25, 2022 at home. He was the husband of the late Janet Lavigne. Roy was born on March 29, 1937 in Burlington Vermont, and was a son of the late Roy A. Lavigne, Sr. and Lorraine Wheel. Roy was a milk delivery driver for most of his working life. In his later years of life he had worked as a driver for John Leo and Sons in Jericho. When he was not working, he could be found on the lakes and rivers of Vermont, fishing or playing horseshoes. He was a Cobra Club member for many years. He is survived by: three children Michael Lavigne, Sr. and his wife Susan of Berlin, Lisa Bevins and her partner John Bushey of Georgia and Betty Lawrence of Berlin ;six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was the brother of Ronnie Leo Wheel of Winooski and the uncle of several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his siblings, Steve Lavigne, Beverly Rochette and Randy Wheel. Visiting hours will be held Friday, July 1, 2022 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM with a funeral service in the funeral home beginning at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow in Resurrection Park, South Burlington.
