Robert William Duffy

Milton-Robert William Duffy Sr., 97, passed away December 23, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Robert was born on March 8, 1924 in Burlington, Vermont, the son of John Henry Duffy and Marjorie (Manley) Duffy. He married Shirley Iva Hazen on October 1, 1950 in Grand Isle. Robert was a quality control supervisor for GE for many years. He was also employed by Russell Sweeney delivering fuel, Mountain Transit, and Paquin Ford. He is survived by: his children, Steven Duffy and his wife Christina of Norton, Allyson Miller and her husband Jeff of AZ, Dale Duffy and his wife Tammy of Fairfax, Nancy Reynolds of Milton, Billy Duffy of Milton, and Doug Duffy and his wife Missy of Milton; his 15 grandchildren, Matt, Kevin, Jason, Angiel, Shelby, Courtney, Amy, Erin, Darren, Tyler, Missy, Jessica, Scott, Doug Jr., Dylan, ; his 20 great-grandchildren, Alex, Reese, West, Hobby, Cullen, Mckenna, Megan, Lauren, Chase, Ryker, Brooke, Willow, Dustin, Charlie, Thomas, Derrick, Hazen, Aubrey, Bentley, and Khennede, ; a daughter in law Marcia Duffy of Milton, a sister Norma King and her husband Doug of East Berkshire, his sister in laws Janet Hazen of Shelburne, Nancy Hazen of South Carolina, and Jaye Duffy of Atlanta, and his special friend Lile Bedard of Milton. He is predeceased by his wife of 57 years Shirley Duffy, his 2 sons Gary Duffy and David "Cliff" Duffy, his 2 brothers, Wayne and Jim Duffy and his sister Barbara Ryan, his brother in laws Duane Ryan and Richard, Robert, Gordon and Elliot Hazen. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 between the hours of 5-8PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 29 beginning at 11 in the Minor Funeral Home.
