Family was of utmost importance to Rita, and she treasured every moment spent with them.

In her leisure time, Rita enjoyed crocheting beautiful pieces and spending time at the casino. She had a competitive spirit and loved engaging in board games and poker with her family. However, one thing everyone knew was that they had to be quiet during her favorite TV show, Jeopardy! Rita was an avid reader and always had a book in her hands. She also found pleasure on sunny days in car rides and she enjoyed watching the birds.

After attaining an associate's degree from Fisher Junior College , Rita pursued a career as a bookkeeper for many small businesses over the course of several years.
