Richard Harry Hubbard

Fairfax, VT-- Richard Harry Hubbard, 85, passed away on May 15th, 2022 at his home. Richard was born on January 25, 1937 in Essex Junction, VT, the son of Clarence Hubbard and Martha (Pecor). He married the love of his life, Lee Rooney on October 28th, 1961 in St. Mary's Parish in Cambridge. In Richard's professional life, he was a heavy vehicle operator for construction and aided in the building of lots of local developments. He is survived by: his spouse Lee; his children, Julie Smith, of Williston, Kristine Hubbard, of Fairfax, Kerry (Jonathan) Jones, of Fairfax; his grandchildren, Emily (Rob) , Richard, Wayne, Hillari, Gabrielle, and Myleigh; his great-grandchild Jamison; and his siblings, George Hubbard, of Milton, Clarence Jr. (Doris) Hubbard, of Haysville, KS. He is predeceased by his father, Clarence Hubbard; mother, Martha Hubbard; son-in-law, Peter Lavoie; his sisters, May Pecor, Ruth Loomis, Doris Archambault, Pearl Hill, Sue Bingham, Helen Pecor; and brothers, Earl Hubbard, Harold Hubbard, Wayne Hubbard. There will be a committal service at Sanderson Corners Cemetery in Fairfax, VT on Friday May 20th at noon.
