Obituary of Nettie Jane Pigeon

Nettie Jane Pigeon, 93, died peacefully on December 3, 2018 at the Cumberland House in Crossville, Tennessee.

Nettie was born September 8, 1925 in Waterville, the daughter of the late Winifred Calvin Burnor and Bernice Sarah Hutchinson.

She married Roland Pigeon on November 6, 1948 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in St. Albans.

She is survived by her son George and his wife, Noreen of Westford, her daughter Luane Pigeon and her husband Andrew Jacob of Tempe, AZ and her daughter in law Ann Pigeon of Westford; Her grandchildren, Stefanie, Justin, Shauna, Jordan, Susan, Sarah, Benjamin, Samuel, Anna and Danielle, her 9 great-grandchildren and by her siblings, Leonard Burnor of New Hampshire and Bruce Burnor of Eden, VT also by her in laws, Raymond Pigeon of Swanton, George Pigeon of Florida and Doris Emond of Gouverneur, New York and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Dayle on September 8, 2017.

Visiting Hours will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2018 from 4 to 7 pm in the Minor Funeral Home, Route 7 in Milton.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 10, 2018 at 11 am in St. Luke Catholic Church in Fairfax with Fr. Henry Furman, celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Luke's Cemetery.
