Nancy Jean Grant, born on July 27, 1940, in Swanton, Vermont, departed this world on April 19, 2025, in Lyndonville, Vermont, leaving behind a cherished legacy of love, warmth, and joy.
Nancy was a devoted mother to her three children, Deborah Gadue, Michael Grant, and Debbie Grant. Her children were her pride and joy, and she dedicated her life to ensuring they felt supported and loved. She had a unique ability to light up any room with her smile, drawing people in with her kindness and warmth. Nancy’s laughter was infectious, and her spirit was a guiding force for all who knew her.
Her passion for socializing was evident in her active participation in community events and beloved hobbies such as Bingo and social hours, where she created lasting memories with friends. These gatherings not only brought her joy but also fostered connections that resonated throughout her life.
Nancy was predeceased by her loving husband, Dalton Grant, whose memory she held dear. She was also preceded in death by her devoted parents, Herbert Drew Sr. and Irene Laroche, and her siblings, Herbert Drew Jr., Donna Kingsbury, and Mary Ellen Boucher. Each of these individuals played a significant role in shaping Nancy into the remarkable woman she became, and her heart will forever hold their memory.
A graveside service to honor Nancy's life will be held on May 19, 2025, at St. Ann Cemetery in Milton, Vermont, beginning at 1:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate a life richly lived and a soul profoundly loved.
