Michelle Lynn Meunier

October 19, 1969 — January 14, 2024

Georgia

Michelle Lynn Meunier, a beloved member of the community and a dedicated hair stylist, has passed away at the age of 54. She was born on October 19, 1969, in Milton, Vermont to her loving parents Roger Pratt, Sr and Ramona June (McManis) Pratt . Michelle drew immense joy from her work as a hair stylist and spent most of her life honing her craft in town in her salon Close Enough Styles.

From a young age, Michelle had an inherent passion for making others feel beautiful and confident. She possessed an artistic flair that allowed her to transform ordinary locks into stunning hairstyles. Countless individuals walked out of her salon feeling like their truest selves, with renewed confidence radiating from within. Michelle's talent was not limited to simply cutting and styling hair; she had an uncanny ability to connect with each person who sat in her chair, lending them an empathetic ear or sharing heartfelt stories. It was in the salon her humor, upbeat personality, and her gossip became well known.

Beyond her professional achievements, Michelle cherished the role of mother and wife above all else. Her marriage to Todd Meunier was one filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support. Together they raised three incredible children: Reese, Stacey, and Serena. Michelle loved being there for every milestone in their lives—cheering them on their sporting events, beaming with pride during school performances, and offering guidance as they navigated the complexities of life. Her love knew no bounds.

In Michelle's spare time, she enjoyed indulging in two favorite pastimes: bingo and reading. She found solace in the thrill of marking off numbers on her bingo card alongside friends she considered family. Reading was another passion that fueled her imagination. Murder Mystery novels were particularly captivating to her; she delighted in solving intricate puzzles alongside brilliant detectives within the pages of countless books. She also enjoyed playing Toon Blast.

Tragically, Michelle passed away on January 14, 2024 following a period of declining health. Her departure has left a void that can never be filled. However, her legacy of kindness, compassion, and love will forever endure in the hearts of all those who were fortunate to know her. Michelle's gentle spirit touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible mark on the community she held dear.

Michelle Lynn Meunier is survived by her loving husband Todd Meunier, their three children Reese, Stacey, and Serena, and her three brothers Roger Pratt Jr., Randall Pratt, and Todd  M. Pratt. Together, they mourn the loss of a remarkable woman whose presence enriched their lives beyond measure. She is also survived by her 3 dogs, Kiki, Scylla, Zoey  ( her birthday gift) and her cat Mew.

A celebration of Michelle's life will be on Sunday, January 21, 2-4 PM with a service at 4 PM, in the Minor Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Milton. Burial will take place in the spring in Milton Village Cemetery.

As we bid farewell to Michelle Lynn Meunier, let us remember the joy she brought to those around her and carry that light with us always.
