Merle Edith Johnston

Enosburg Falls, VT--Merle Edith Johnston, 81, passed away October 16, 2021 at Brownway Residence. Merle was born on April 3, 1942 in Lancaster, NH, the Daughter of Gordon Brigham and Earlene (Webster). Merle was a housekeeper and a home maker all of her life. She is survived by: Her children, William (Lisa) Johnston of Underhill, Michael (Yorini) Johnston of South Burlingotn, Tami (Charles) Gervais, of Enosburg Falls, Cindy Phelps of Colorado Springs; her grandchildren,Charles Gervais, Jr., Amanda Green, Brittanie Phelps, Sarah Johnston, Elizabeth Johnston and Jake Johnston; her great-grandchildren, Bella, Alex and Clinton and her dear friend Collette Hebert of Milton. She is predeceased by her late husband William Johnston, her father, Gordon Brigham; mother, Earlene Brigham and her granddaughter Stephanie Phelps. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, October 20, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Minor Funeral Home in Milton, VT. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 21, at 11:00 a.m. in St. Ann Church, Milton, VT. Burial will be held on Friday, October 22, privately in Riverside Cemetery, Lunenburg.
