Margaret Mary Resseguie

Milton, VT-Margaret Mary Resseguie, 96, passed away peacefully June 4, 2022 at her home. Margaret was born on August 9, 1925 in Providence, RI, the daughter of Aurel Henry Gauvin and Margaret Theresa Flynn. Margaret graduated from Millbury High School in Millbury, MA in 1943. She married Charles Resseguie on June 24, 1946. Margaret loved her garden and sitting in her backyard on a beautiful day, reading, shopping, baking, camping, picnics, and eating at restaurants with family. Margaret influenced her family's love for the ocean. Margaret lived in the moment. She was emotionally strong and reliable, kind and happy. She put other's needs before her own and was a great listener. Margaret was very social and quick to tell stories of the past and enjoyed family gatherings. She loved to take care of her grandchildren so a babysitter was never needed. She is survived by her daughters Lynne, Sharon, and Joan; son-in-law Woody Pecor; her grandchildren Dr. Cedric Pecor, Jessica Masse and husband Dr. Roger Masse; her great grandsons Charles and Brant Masse; her sister Shirl and brother-in-law Marc Godbout; sisters-in-law Betty Gauvin and Eleanor Gauvin; brother-in-law Roger Resseguie and wife Marilyn. She was predeceased by her husband Charles Resseguie in 2013; son-in-law Larry Mayo; sister Rita Eick and husband Russell Eick; brothers Aurel John Gauvin and Robert Gauvin; brother-in-law Donald Resseguie and wife Joyce Resseguie. We would like to thank UVM Home Health and Hospice for the support they gave us and the wonderful care they gave Mom. A funeral mass will be held on Friday June 10 at 11 AM at St Ann Church in Milton. Following the mass the burial will take place at St Ann Cemetery. Masks are requested and encouraged please.
