Colchester - Lucien E. Belisle Sr., 74, passed away unexpectedly on Monday June17, 2019 at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington with his loving family by his side.
Lucien was born on January 1, 1945 in Colchester the son of Arthur and Leontine (Chaput) Belisle.
He served in the U.S. Air Force.
On August 9, 1969, he married Carmelita Phelps in Morrisville.
Lucien was an electrician and worked for Delta Electric, New England Air, Rossignol and Burlington Electric, retiring in 2007.
He enjoyed biking, volunteering for the Colchester Lions, the Colchester Food Shelf, Meals on Wheels, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and spending time at home.
In addition to his wife Carmelita, he is survived by their children Lucien Jr. of Eden, Michelle Maneval of Wilmington, NC., and Thomas Belisle and his wife Frances of Lutz, FL, by his grandchildren Amanda Guilmette, Kayleigh Maneval, Ethan Maneval, Mikayla McMahon and Brooks Belisle and his great granddaughter Savannah.
He is also survived by his siblings Simone Graveline, Jeannette Woods, Armand Belisle, Mary Ann Hogan, Pauline Comtois, Lucille Larose, George Belisle, Evelyn Cattone, Arline Belisle and Lisa Mallory and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and his daughter Christina McMahon.
Lucien's family would like to give special thanks to the ICU staff at the University of Vermont Medical Center for the excellent care given to Lucien and his family.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday June 20, 2019 from 11-1pm., with a Funeral Service following at 1pm in the Minor Funeral and Cremation Center in Milton.
