Lorraine Florence Beisiegel

Lorraine Florence (Small) Beisiegel, 95 of Milton, Vt. went home to be with the Lord, July 26, 2022. Lorraine was born on May 3,1927, the daughter of Lynn and Helene (Getzin) Small and was one of four children (Albert, Marion and Lynn predeceased her). Formerly of Cheektowaga, NY., she is survived by her devoted husband Clayton Beisiegel (21 days short of their 75-year wedding anniversary), her two children Alice Beisiegel and her husband Michael Gurdon of Williston, Vt. and Donald Beisiegel and his wife Sheila of Milton, Vt., three grandchildren Sarah Harter (Rob), Patrick Beisiegel (Victoria) and Kayla Beisiegel, and three great grandchildren, Liam, Silas and Quinn. She also leaves behind numerous beloved nieces and nephews. Lorraine grew up in Kenilworth, N.Y. and graduated from Kenmore High School. She & Clayton were married August 16, 1947 at Kenilworth United Church of Christ. She initially was a homemaker and later did bookkeeping for their appliance repair business. She enjoyed gardening and hosting numerous gatherings. She attended Epiphany United Church of Christ, formerly known as St. Andrews United Church of Christ where she served as the Sunday School Superintendent for many years. She was loved and cherished by many and will never be forgotten. A virtual memorial service will take place, the date and time to be announced.
