Linda’s journey began with a steadfast dedication to caring for others. For many years, she served as a candy striper, offering comfort and support to those in need. Her natural empathy and attention to detail led her to a rewarding career as a documentation specialist at Perrigo, where she applied her skills with precision and grace. Her professional life reflected the same kindness that defined her personal character.

An educated and thoughtful woman, Linda earned an associate’s degree from Sullivan College, a foundation that supported her lifelong learning and personal growth. Beyond her professional and academic achievements, she found joy in simple yet profound pleasures. She loved the beach, the soothing rhythm of waves, and the freedom of sailing boats—a reflection of her free spirit and admiration for nature’s beauty. Her view from her residence was in view of the mountain, which she thoroughly enjoyed.

Linda was known for her sweet and trusting nature. She opened her heart to everyone she met, embodying a loving presence that comforted family, friends, and acquaintances alike. Her ability to trust and her genuine kindness left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Bob Helferty, whose partnership provided her with profound joy and companionship for the past 26 years. Her son, Andrew Wright, carries forward her legacy of love and integrity. Linda’s brother, William Wright, remains a constant presence in her family’s story, sharing memories and upholding the bonds they forged together. Linda was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Mary and Gordon Wright, whose love helped shape her extraordinary life.
