Linda Guymon passed away peacefully on November 10, 2025, with her family by her bedside, following decades of health challenges.
Linda's deep faith kept her going through her never-ending battles of health hurdles.
Linda was born on May 26, 1947, to Andre and Claire Courville. She grew up in Hardwick VT, graduating from Hardwick Academy in 1965. After graduation she married James Rouhan Jr, and they began raising their family in Fairfax VT. They later divorced and she remained in Fairfax, raising their children and building strong friendships within the community. While in Fairfax she worked for Wyeth and it was there that she met Michael Guymon, whom she married in 1986. During her time in Fairfax, she resumed her education and was very proud to earn her associate’s degree in accounting.
Linda and Michael moved to the Midwest in the 90's and while there she continued her career in accounting for the Bentley Company. Upon leaving Bentley Company she volunteered at the preschool which was in the Lutheran Church.
Linda was very active in the Lutheran church and enjoyed volunteering and doing other duties for the church.
Some of Linda's favorite hobbies and pastimes included keeping in touch with relationships built her entire life, stemming from grade school to the various states she lived. Linda enjoyed quilting, sewing, spending time with her family and friends and practicing her faith. Linda developed a fondness for huskies and had several through the years.
Linda was predeceased by her parents, Andrea and Claire Courville, her brother Andy Courville, her husband Michael Guymon, her Nephew Thomas Williams and her in laws Pauline and James Rouhan Sr.
Linda leaves behind her sisters, Lorette (Dennis) Williams of Milton VT, and Monique (Brian) of Wilmington VT. Her Children Terri (Craig) Forcier of Waterville VT, Jim Rouhan of Sevierville TN, Bonnie (Dean) Lavoie of Ipswich MA and Colleen Rouhan of St. Albans Vt.
Linda's Grandchildren Brandy (Charlie) Burgess, Scott (and partner Abby) Forcier, Matthew Lavoie, Connor Lavoie, Madeleine Lavoie, Jayden Rouhan, and Lukas Rouhan. One great grandchild, Clarie Forcier, held a very special place in Linda's heart. Her stepchildren Michelle Lewis of FL and her family, Jason (Karen) Guymon and their Family of Underhill VT.
All of Linda's extended family and friends and her friends that were more like her family Bill and Marion Eastman of Fairfax VT, and Marcel and Cheryl Yandow of Fairfax VT.
In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory can be made to The Community Lutheran Church 1560 Williston Road South Burlington VT 05403 and Adopt a Husky.
Services will be held at the Minor Funeral home, in Milton Vermont on 11/29/2025 from 11:00 -1:00.
