**In Loving Memory of Kimberly Marie Hooks**

Kimberly Marie Hooks, a beloved member of the Winooski community, passed away peacefully on November13, 2024, after a brave battle with cancer. Born on June 10, 1966, in Burlington, Vermont, Kimberly grew up surrounded by love in St. Albans Town. She shared her childhood with her sibling Tim and cherished memories with her close cousins Brent, Hayley, Jessica, and Heidi.

A proud graduate of Bellows Free Academy St. Albans in 1984, Kimberly was known for her vibrant spirit. She was an active member of the DECA club and loved contributing to school events, often reveling in the energy of her favorite bands’ performances at Shabooms on the weekends.

Her passion for cosmetology took flight soon after graduation when she enrolled at O’Briens Cosmetology School. Kimberly made Winooski her home and dedicated over two decades to nurturing the community around her. Her warm heart and radiant laughter brought joy to many, as she selflessly supported her friends and neighbors.

Creativity was at the core of Kimberly's being; she filled her days with arts and crafts, penned her thoughts in poetry, and gave tender care to her two beloved cats, Princess and Cuddles. A woman of deep faith, she embraced the values of love, generosity, and light, striving to uplift those around her.

Kimberly is survived by her devoted mother, Joyce Ann Clark, her father, Gary Zane Hooks, her brother Timothy Brian Hooks, and her beloved niece Aynsley Maude Hooks and nephew Carson Braun Hooks. She is also fondly remembered by a loving extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In honor of her compassionate spirit, services will be held privately, with an invitation extended to close family and friends. For those wishing to remember Kimberly in a meaningful way, donations can be made to the ASPCA or the Chittenden Humane Society, reflecting her love for animals and her enduring kindness.

Kimberly's light will forever shine in the hearts of all who knew her.
