Obituary of Kathy May Moquin



Milton - Kathy May Moquin, 72, died peacefully on



January 27, 2018 at the McClure Miller VNA Respite House in Colchester, with her loving family by her side.



Kathy was born on September 14, 1945, in Newburyport Massachusetts, the daughter of Carl and Jean (Parsons) Ransom.



In 1963 she graduated from Bellows Falls High School. She had been self-employed with Aglow cleaning for many years. She most recently worked as an administrative assistant for Cornerstone Church in which she was an active member.



Kathy enjoyed spending lots of time with her children, going to her grandchildren's sporting events and eating out with her siblings and special times with her closest friends and prayer groups.



She was very active in numerous prayer ministries, president of Aglow International but closest to heart was her founded ministry Kathy's Coat Ministry.



Kathy's mission was to keep everyone warm and her blessing to this world was to spread love to anyone that needed it through her heartwarming smile.



Kathy was married to Harold Moquin Jr. for 44 years. Harold predeceased her in 2011.



She is survived by her children Tammy Weston, Stacey Hamblett and her husband Robert and Shawn Moquin and his fianc Dawn, by her grandchildren Katrina and fianc Justin Hawkins, Jensen, Tate, Tanner and Sabrina, by Harold's children Steve Moquin and his wife Lori, Cheri and Brian along with their children and grandchildren.Her siblings Mike and wife Pam, Maureen, Karen (Buffy) Hart, Kevin and his wife Deb, (her dear friend) and Kim Ransom and wife Franny, numerous nieces and nephews and Tara and Shellie Spaulding, who were a strong presence in Kathy's life.



Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 from 4-7 pm in the Minor Funeral Home in Milton.



Memorial contributions in Kathy's memory may be made to the McClure Miller VNA Respite House, 3113 Roosevelt Hwy, Colchester, VT 05446.



A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, January 31st at Noon in the Cornerstone Community Church, 26 Bombardier Rd in Milton.
