June C. Boudreau, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, friend, cousin, and devout Catholic passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in Morrisville on October 20, 2023 surrounded by family. Born on January 31,1935, June was the daughter of Cecil and Marjorie Langlois Cook. 

 

On June 11, 1955, she married the love of her life, Robert Boudreau, at St. Mary’s Church in St. Albans. They started their family in Montpelier, VT before moving to Morrisville. In retirement they enjoyed traveling across the country until Robert’s passing in 2017. 

 

June greatly enjoyed her career as a bookkeeper for Lamoille Home Health for over 25 years. Her meticulous attention to detail and strong work ethic made her an invaluable asset. She made many dear friends while working there. June was well known for her volunteer efforts in the community including working for many years at Second Chance Thrift Shop and making home visits for her church. She was beloved for delivering delicious homemade muffins throughout the Morrisville community. 

 

June will be remembered as a loving and caring mother. Her children held a special place in her heart: Debbie, who predeceased her, David (companion Barbara) of Elmore, Michael (wife Faith) of Lake Elmore, and Karen Cochran (husband Terry) of Wolcott. She provided them with unconditional love and support throughout their lives. June also adored spending time with her seven grandchildren (Justin, Hillary, Tyler, Palmer, Lena, Annie, and Abigail), six great-grandchildren (Pyper, Carli, Ellie, Izzy, Finley, and Palmer Robert), and many nieces, nephews and cousins. 

 

June also leaves behind her siblings: Geri Halden of Swanton, Sarah Hurlbut of St. Albans, and Bonnie Noel and husband Roger of Highgate. The bond she shared with her siblings was unbreakable; they were not just siblings but also confidantes and lifelong friends. 

 

In addition to her parents, husband Robert, and daughter Debra, June was predeceased by her brother Maurice Cook and his wife Beverly, and her brother-in-law Jack Hurlbut.

 

A Mass in loving memory of June C. Boudreau’s life will be held on October 30, 2023, at Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish in Morrisville. The service will commence at 11:00 AM, with burial to follow in Pleasant View Cemetery. The parish, located at 301 Brooklyn Street, Morrisville, VT 05661 was a spiritual haven for June for 56 years. 

 

June touched the lives of many with her warmth, kindness, and unwavering faith. She will be remembered for her commitment to her family, her dedication to her work, and her steadfast faith. Her legacy will live on through the cherished memories she leaves behind. Her family would like to thank Lamoille Home Health and Hospice for their kind and compassionate care.
