Swanton- Julie Lynn Barbour, 60, passed away November 8, 2021 at University of Vermont Medical Center. Julie was born on August 18, 1961 in Burlington, VT, the daughter of John Hill and Beverly (Myott) Hill. She married Jeffrey Barbour on June 21, 1986 in Essex. Julie spent most of her life in the banking industry. Becoming a manager at the bank and had also worked for Putnam Investments. Most recently she was employed by Jolley. She was not all work and no play, family was very very important to her. She was the heart beat of the family. Julie was so kind and she loved, cared and worried for everyone. She was type of person who would literally give you the shirt off of her back. Some of her family's best memories were the vacations in Saco and York ME. It was there she really began to grow her relationship with her daughters and became best friends. She is survived by: her husband Jeffrey of Swanton her children, Amanda Barbour of Richford, Sarah Barbour and her companion Eddie Martin of Burlington; her grandchildren, Zoe, Hayden and Jacob; her siblings Dawn Hill-Fleury of Essex, Kim DeForge-Cronin of Colchester, Scott Hill and his wife Jackie of Essex, Beth Gordon of Jericho, John Hill II and his wife Lorraine of Essex. She is also survived by Melissa Rawson and her Godson, Brian Deforge. and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her father, John Hill Sr.; mother, Beverly Hill; brother Greg Hill; nephew and godson Michael Deforge and niece Nicole Deforge. Her services will be held on Saturday Novemeber 13, at 11AM in the Plains Cemetery in Hyde Park.
