Judy Katrine Manges, a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on May 10, 2024, at North Western Medical Center after a period of declining health. She was born on March 30, 1945, Elmira, New York, to her loving parents Paul and Cecilia Donaldson.
Judy dedicated many years of her life as an administrative assistant at various newspapers, where she was known for her hard work, efficiency, and kind demeanor. Her colleagues remember her as a reliable compassionate team member who always brought a sense of warmth to the workplace.
Outside of her professional life, Judy found joy in spending time with her family, especially her two sons, Brian Manges and Alan Manges, along with their spouses Katie and Misty. She cherished every moment with her grandchildren Wyatt and Jaymie, as well as her step-grandchildren Ariel and Donavin. Judy's nurturing spirit and unconditional love will forever be treasured by her family.
In her free time, Judy had a passion for reading horror novels and mystery thrillers. She found solace in the depths of these stories and enjoyed the thrill of a good plot twist. Judy's curious mind and love for storytelling will be remembered by all who knew her.
Judy is survived by her sons Brian and Alan, their spouses Katie and Misty, grandchildren Wyatt and Jaymie, step-grandchildren Ariel and Donavin; as well as her siblings Bob Donaldson and June Finklea. She is preceded in death by her parents Paul and Cecilia Donaldson, as well as her siblings Pat, Sis, Carol, Mary, Barbara, Buzz, and Jimmy.
Judy Katrine Manges leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and strength. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
