Joseph Cleveland

March 31, 1956 — February 5, 2022

Cleveland, Joseph M. of Randolph, VT died February 5, 2022. On March 31, 1956 proud parents Maynard George Cleveland and Loretta Cleveland (Pinkowski) welcomed a beautiful baby boy into the world. They named him Joseph Maynard Cleveland. Joseph had a long life ahead of him, born into a sick body, he fought year after year and was blessed with many life moments of joy and success. Joseph was a graduate of NorthEastern University with a passion for accounting. He worked for several companies throughout his life: Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA, Building 19 Warehouse and Advance Auto Parts were just a few long standing jobs Joseph was remembered for doing. Joseph married in the mid 1980’s and by 1987 welcomed his only child Catherine Mailloux (Cleveland) into the world. As years went by Joseph shared his love of baseball cards-which he collected since youth-to anyone who wanted to also share in that hobby. Joseph was an avid New England sports fan, although he did appreciate athletes from other teams as well. Joseph also loved The Three Stooges, he was a big fan of all the silly moments they brought to the big screen. Joseph will always be remembered as a stand up guy, a realist, super logical and honest. He was loved by so many people and impacted so many people's lives-as they did his own. Joseph was taken so suddenly from his loved ones, by a quick moving illness. Joseph left behind his daughter, Catherine Mailloux (Cleveland) of Randolph,VT, his son in law Krzysztof Mailloux of Randolph,VT, his grandchildren (whom he always loved talking about to everyone) James Ellis,(14) of Plympton, MA, Colin Manning,(10) and Trent Manning,(7) of Randolph,VT. He also left behind his Nephew Jeffrey Allen of Quincy,MA and one of his best friends Paul Paulson of Quincy,MA. Joseph also leaves behind numerous other family, friends and others who enjoyed his warmth and friendship in this life. He now joins family and friends who passed before him in the peaceful wonders of Heaven. His famous words were always “One day at a time” and he would want everyone to always remember this. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Sunday 5-6 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Funeral service will be celebrated on Monday at 8 AM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main St. (Rt. 18 opp. South Shore Hospital), Weymouth.
