Jonathan Duncan Langdon "JD", a beloved son, father, brother, and friend, left this world unexpectedly on November 10, 2025, at the University of Vermont Medical Center. Born on October 3, 1964, in Burlington, Jonathan lived a life filled with warmth, laughter, and a deep love for nature and community.

Jonathan dedicated his career to customer service, where his friendly demeanor and personable approach made him a treasured figure in the lives of many. He had a genuine love for people that shone through in every interaction. His easygoing nature and infectious laughter drew others to him, earning him the title of “real people’s guy,” a friend who was always there with a listening ear or a comforting word.

Jonathan's passion for nurturing others extended to his role as a father. He cherished coaching his son, Duncan, in flag football, sharing quality time and unforgettable moments that remain etched in their hearts. Their adventures in skiing in Wyoming were particularly special, as they often embarked on their journeys before Duncan could even walk. These memories reflect the depth of Jonathan's caring spirit and unwavering support for his son.

Jonathan had a zest for life illustrated by his hobbies. He found joy in sailing and skiing, bridled by lifelong enthusiasm. His laughter, approach to these activities, and the sheer joy he experienced while engaging in them spoke volumes about his character—the way he embraced every moment fully and completely. He enjoyed spending time on his boat on Lake Champlain, with the concerts from the waterfront echoing off the lake.

Though physical distance may separate us, Jonathan will forever remain close in heart to his beloved mother, Ann Langdon; his cherished son, Duncan P. Langdon and his girlfriend, Beka; and his brother, Chad Langdon. Together, they will carry forth his memory, honoring a man whose life was a tapestry woven from moments of laughter, love, and a profound respect for the beauty of the world around him.
