Joan Robinson

Joan C. Robinson 91, passed away on June 15, 2025.

She was born March 4, 1934, in Concord, MA, the daughter of David S. Robinson and Gladys Robinson.

Joan was proud to have served in the Women’s Army Corps from July 1952 through August 1958. She retired from Civil Service with the Department of the Army at Fort Ord, CA in 1979. She worked in Civilian Personnel as a Personnel Staffing Specialist.

Joan moved to Vermont in 1980 and spent thirteen winters as a ticket seller at Mount Mansfield. Her summers were spent on the Copley Country Club golf course in Morrisville.

Joan is survived by a nephew, David S. Robinson and wife, Heidi of Canisteo, NY, a great niece Erin Robinson, and many cousins.

She was predeceased by her partner Sylvia. L Dent, her parents David and Gladys Robinson, and brother David S. Robinson.

As per Joan’s wishes there will be no visiting hours or funeral service. She will be buried in the Vermont Veterans Memorial Cemetery alongside her partner.

Arrangements will be handled by Minor Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
