Swanton, VT--Jill Marie (Cronkrite) Yandow, 63, passed away August 15, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Jill was born on June 26, 1958 in Burlington, VT, the Daughter of James Cronkrite and Rose (Hunt). She married Armand Yandow at the Sand Bar State Park in Milton, VT on September 13th, 2009. Jill owned her own successful cleaning business for many years, into which her legacy lives on through Simone. She was loving, caring and her generosity was felt by all. She was "everyone's mom". She fostered several children and made lap quilts for many of the nursing homes in the state. Jill was also a publisher and editor for the Milton Independent and played her part in publishing and editing two books. She was also her son's biggest hockey fan. She loved her granddaughter to no end. Jill loved camping with her children, and also loved her winters in Florida as a snow bird, with her husband Armand and cat Minnie. Jill wished to be cremated with her transplant donor's photo. She is survived by: her spouse Armand, her children, James (Ashley) Potvin, of Raleigh, NC, Simone Potvin and her fiance Shane Girard, of Westford; her granddaughter, Serenity Girard. She is predeceased by her father, James Cronkrite; mother, Rose (Hunt) Cronkrite In accordance with her wishes, there will be a celebration of life at her residence, 557 VT Route 78, Swanton, this Friday August 20th, 2021 from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
