James Morgan, a beloved son, father, brother, and friend, passed away on October 4, 2023, in Shelburne. Born in Burlington, Vermont, on June 1, 1982, James lived a life filled with love and kindness. He was known for his caring nature and an unwavering commitment to helping others.

James had a diverse career that spanned various roles, but he took immense pride in his work as a handyman. His skills were unmatched, and he approached every task with dedication and precision. Additionally, James served as an equipment operator at an esteemed metal recycling company, where his expertise proved invaluable.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, James will be remembered for his warm heart and nurturing spirit. He touched the lives of those around him through simple acts of kindness and generosity. Whether it was lending a listening ear or offering a helping hand, he always went above and beyond to support his loved ones.

James leaves behind cherished memories for those fortunate enough to have known him. He is survived by his mother Vanessa Morgan, who provided unwavering love and support throughout his life.
In addition to his mother, James is survived by three adoring sons: Nicholas Kolok, Alex Landry, and Bobby Graham. They were the light of his life and brought him immeasurable joy, as he was theirs as well. James treasured every moment spent with them and leaves behind an invaluable legacy of love, laughter and wisdom.


Among James's siblings are Michael Morgan and his wife CJ, Troy Morgan and his wife Tisha, Patricia Gorton, and Melissa Morgan and her partner Kyle Brigham, and Nicole Stowell. They formed an unbreakable bond as a family, supporting one another through thick and thin. James's passing leaves a void that can never be filled within the hearts of his siblings.

James also held a special place in the hearts of his nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, including Brandon Nielsen and Alexis Cyr and a great niece Elise.  He always showed them love and guidance, offering a loving presence whenever they needed it. His impact on their lives will forever be cherished.

Amberlee Charbonneau was more than just a best friend; she was James's confidante and partner in crime. Their bond grew stronger with each passing year as they navigated life's ups and downs together. Amberlee's unwavering presence provided comfort during difficult times while amplifying the joys shared between dear friends.

He was the son of the late Merriman “Peanut” Morgan, Jr.

Today, we come together to celebrate the life of James Morgan - a man who left an indelible mark on the lives of those fortunate enough to have known him. His memory will live on in our hearts as we continue to share stories of love, kindness, and unwavering dedication to family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all.
