Obituary of Henry F. Richardson


Henry F. Richardson, 80 of West Shore Road, Grand Isle passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 in the Franklin County Rehabilitation Center in St. Albans.

Henry was born July 15, 1935 in Underhill the son of the late Theodore and Sarah Bapp Richardson.

A longtime resident of the Islands and member of the VT Farm Bureau, he owned and operated three dairy farms in Grand Isle. He had also worked for fifteen years with the Bean Construction Company in Colchester. Henry was a proud member of the Colchester Lions Club as well and will be missed by those who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Judy of Grand Isle. His children, Michael Richardson and his wife, Crystal of Texas and Starr McGregor of Grand Isle. His former wife and mother of his children, Ruth Richardson of Winooski. 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. His brothers and sisters, Frederick Richardson and his wife, Marie, May Orr and Adelbert Richardson and his wife Helen all of Missouri. Edith Sears and her husband, Leonard of Bristol, June Way of South Burlington, Theodore Richardson and his wife Roberta of Grand Isle and Ruth Way and companion, Claude Brodeur of Richford. His sister in law Rita Connolly of Grand Isle and his sister in law Brenda Richardson of Missouri. He was predeceased by his daughter, Tina Richardson and his brother, John Richardson.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrate on Monday April 4, 2016 at 11:30 am in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in South Hero with Fr. Thomas Nadeau, celebrant. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.

Visiting Hours will be held on Sunday, April 3rd from 3 to 5 pm in the Minor Funeral Home, Route 7 in Milton.
