Gisele Balleux Beaudoin

Gisele Beaudoin, 87, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2026 at Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans, VT following a brief illness.

Gisele Lise was born January 12, 1939 to Magella (Levasseur) and Salvatore Balleux in Cap-de-la-Madeleine, Quebec the seventh of thirteen children. She moved to Sherbrooke in 1966, where she lived for the next 9 years. It’s there she met her future husband, Pierre, in 1974 and were married a year later. They made their home for the next 47 years in Colebrook, NH where they raised their two loving daughters. Gisele was a stay at home mom until 1991 when she decided to start working at various clothing factories in the north country making shirts. She retired from Codet in 2007, just in time to enjoy her newest and probably favorite title, Grandma. In 2023, she moved to St. Albans, Vermont and spent the last few years of her life enjoying time with her granddaughters.

She was predeceased by her husband Pierre in 2022 and her parents. She is survived by her daughters Isabelle (Tim St. Pierre) and Monique Beaudoin and her granddaughters Audrey and Cloe Van Leuven. She was sister to the late Jeannette (the late Jean-Paul Laneuville), the late Colette (the late Raoul Courteau), the late Denise, Yolande, the late Maurice (Lise Frechette), Roger (Lise Jodoin), the late Claude, the late Nicole, Jocelyne (the late Maurice Bastien), the late Madeleine, the late Mirielle and Louise Balleux. She also leaves behind sisters-in-law Lise Beaudoin (Ernesto Carrillo), Suzane Beaudoin (Richard Cliché), Jacqueline Lapointe and brother-in-law Rene Beaudoin, her chosen sister Therese Chabot, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours and memorial will be held in  the Jenkins and Newman Funeral Home in Colebrook New Hampshire at a later date and a private inurnment next to her beloved husband in Canada will be later at the convenience of the family.

The family would like to thank the staff at Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans, VT for taking such wonderful care of our mother.
