Gary Lee Parrott

Burlington, VT--Gary Lee Parrott, 76, passed away January 15, 2022 at University of Vermont Medical Center. Gary was born on May 7, 1945 in Burlington, VT, the Son of the late Henry Parrott and Nellie (Richie). Gary married his best friend and life partner, Nancy Lee King, on May 18, 1963. They had shared 58 years of marriage together. Gary was employed for many years at GE and part of the Vermont National guard when he was younger. Gary liked to take his family camping and on short trips to Lake George NY. He had a love of music which he passed on to his daughters and grandchildren. He loved the oldies and liked to play them loud. Once retired he enjoyed spending time with his brother Francis (Peanut) and friend Perry Paquette fishing & bickering. Gary is survived by his wife Nancy, Daughters and their families, Deborah Adams and her children John (Nicole) Muir & Nicole Muir, Betty (Russell) Demar and her children Michelle Turner, Mollie Turner, Joshua (Sara) Turner, and Nancy Parrott (Shawn McIntyre) and their son Ryan Parrott. Gary had 10 great grandchildren, Tyler, Hunter, Emma, Ryder, Kaydence, Kamiryn, Kallie, Isaac, Liam, Kamden and Owen. His three brothers Larry Parrott (Nancy), Francis Parrott (Joanne), Darrell Parrott and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents - Nellie & Henry Parrott, Beverly LaRocque (sister); Donald LaRocque (brother in law); Gerald Parrott; Bernard Parrott; Raymond Parrott & Richard Parrott (brothers). It was Gary's wishes to be cremated and to not have any services.
