Donald L. Bradley., a dedicated employee of General Electric and former owner of the Chimney Corner Store, passed away at home in Milton on January 1st, 2024. He was surrounded by his loving family during his final moments. Born on October 7th, 1932, in Randolph. Donald had a remarkable life filled with notable accomplishments and cherished relationships.
Donald’s professional career spanned several decades, during which he made significant contributions to the success of General Electric. His dedication and work ethic earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues. Additionally, his entrepreneurial spirit led him to become the proud owner of the Chimney Corner Store.
Outside of work, Donald served his country with honor and distinction in the military from 1950 to 1953. He bravely served in Korea during this time. His service was an indication of his commitment to protecting and serving others.
In his leisure time, Donald was known for his love of woodwork. He possessed a remarkable talent for creating beautiful pieces that impressed all who saw them. His craftsmanship will undoubtedly be remembered as a testament to his creativity and passion.
Among Donald’s proudest accomplishments was his nomination for the Honor Flight for Veteran’s to Washington, D.C., in 2021. Being recognized for his service brought deep pride to him.
Donald leaves behind a profound impact on those who were fortunate enough to call him family and friend. He is survived by his four children: Donald Bradley Jr. and his wife Judi of Colchester, Cheryl Bradley Valyou of Grand Isle, Tammy Cheney of Scottsdale, AZ, and Brenda Sweeney of Milton. He shared special bonds with seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren who brought him immense joy throughout his life.
In addition to his immediate family, Donald had deep connections with his siblings Beverly, Liz, Florence, Mary, Bonnie, and Robert. His friendship with Don Little and Don’s wife Betty was truly cherished. Donald also leaves behind his in-laws Irene Beaudoin and her husband Ted, Stanley Tracy and his wife Gloria, and Nancy Tracy and her late husband Richard.
Donald was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Frances Bradley, Janice Bradley who was his wife for 67 years, and his siblings Marguerite, Rosie, Joyce, Arthur and Frank.
Donald L. Bradley Sr.’s presence will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He will be remembered for his kind heart, remarkable work ethic, and dedication to his family. The loss of this extraordinary man has left a void that can never be filled.

Visitation services to honor Donald’s life will be held on January 9th, 2024, at the Minor Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Milton. The visitation will commence at 4:00pm and conclude at 6:00pm with a prayer service led by Father Feltz. Friends and loved ones are welcome to come pay their respects at this time. Committal service will take place later this Spring at St. Ann Cemetery in Milton.
