Obituary of Dennis Stunell

Georgia, Dennis Stunell, 89, died peacefully with his family by his side on May 20, 2018 at his home in Georgia, VT.

He was born on December 19, 1928 in Brighton, Sussex, England. Dennis married his soulmate and the love of his life, Patricia Davey on August 16, 1952.

Dennis is survived by children, Danielle and John Aubin of Georgia, VT; Lorne and Tammy Stunell of Bainsville, Ontario and Nicholas and Ashley Stunell of Montreal, Quebec. Eight Grandchilden, Anthony and Ashley Aubin, Angela and Ryan McCarthy, Ashley and Kyle Bigelow, Scott and Mallory Stunell, Jennifer Aubin, Alexander and Karla Stunell, Sarah Stunell, Tyler Stunell and two very precious great grandchildren, Sadie and Jack. He also leaves his sister, Shirley Pollard and her family in England.

Dennis, aka One Ton Stun was a family man who loved to paint, share stories, gamble and dance with his beautiful Patricia. Boiling soup was never hot enough, salmon was delicious on everything, and red wine was always the answer. His family toast was "Here's to those that love us well, all the rest can go to Hell". He was a very loved man and we will miss him dearly, with his perfectly combed white hair, smiling face, and huge heart. He may not have won the lottery in this lifetime, but we won it with him in our lives.
