Obituary of Deborah Lee Blanchard



Swanton - Deborah L. Blanchard



Heaven gained a beautiful Angel on May 20th, 2017, following her battle with lung cancer. Deborah died peacefully at home with her loving family by her side.



Deborah was born on May 7, 1955 the daughter of Wendell and Rose Marie King.



She had served in the U.S. Air Force.



Deb was employed by Price Chopper for over 13 years and had worked at Energizer and Designer's Circle.



Deborah and Chuck renewed their vows of marriage on Friday, May 19th, 2017, celebrating 35 years of marriage.



She is survived by the love of her life, Charles M. Blanchard III and their four beautiful children, Kharlie Dreslinski and her husband Robert of Swanton, Kasey Ede and her husband Aaron of Richford, Charles M. Blanchard IV and his wife Stacie of Swanton and her baby Krystal Blanchard of Swanton.



She also leaves her beautiful grandchildren Derek, Jordan, Gianna, Savannah, Jessup, Bryanna, Gracie, Wendell, Lucie and Kyle, her sister Sandra Emond and her husband Kenneth of FL, Bruce King and his wife Sue of Milton and Michael King and his wife Evelyn of Jeffersonville Village, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.



Deborah's family would like to thank Karen Fortin, Kathy Lavoie and Meghan Geraw for all of their care and support. And to Susan Dumont for being her best friend, who she loved very much.



Also special thanks to brother-in-law Gene Blanchard and sister-in-law Ellen Desjardin.



She was predeceased by her parents, both of Milton, Wendell and Rose-Marie King, her infant brother and sister Richard and Bonnie King and Freckles and Tippytoes.



Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday May 24, 2017 from 4-7 pm in the Minor Funeral and Cremation Center in Milton.



In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Vermont Cancer Center Relay for life c/o Team Claire Bear, 55 Day Lane, Williston, VT 05495.



A Graveside Service will be held in St. Ann's Cemetery, located on Middle Road in Milton, Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 11 am.
