Darren Bartsch

Darren Ralph Bartsch died peacefully at his residence in Milton, Vermont on October 3rd, 2023. Like most people Darren had two passions in his life, Family and Nascar. Family was truly important to Darren as he loved spending time with his nieces and nephews and catching up with his brothers and sisters.

 

Known as Uncle D to his Family, friends and co-workers because of his gentle soul and kindness. Darren was always someone who would go out of his way for others.Nascar was his true love. He would travel across the country to see and watch different races. He could tell you everything you needed to know about Nascar. Darren traveled to Florida, Kentucky, Pennsylvania and New Hampshire to watch races with family and friends. He would set up his camper for long weekends and share his excitement with everyone. Darren was employed at Fab-Tech Inc. in Colchester, Vt for 31 years, surpassing this mark this past July. He made many friends while working there and Uncle D will be surely be missed by all who worked beside him.

 

Darren leaves behind a Brady Bunch family. David Bartsch and his wife Era, Dennis Bartsch, Donna Bartsch and her husband Denis Godin, Devin Graves and his wife Rita, Gwendolyn Shattuck and her Husband Mario Locci, Marilyn Nalley, Rex Dennis Shattuck and his wife Linda, and Zianibeth Shattuck-Owen and her husband Jon and a multitude of nieces and nephews.

 

Darren was predeceased By his birth mother Hester Graves Bartsch, father Albert Bartsch, and step-mother Pegerty Shattuck Bartsch, sister Debbie Jewett, and brother Yancy Shattuck.

 

Darren also leaves behind very close friends Bob Martin and his wife Marie and his neighbor David Chicoine.

 

The family is planning a Celebration of Life of Life Summer of 2024. Date to be Determined. All who knew Darren should come and share their memories and stories of him.
