Charles Arthur Russell, Jr.

Milton--Charles Arthur Russell Jr., 77, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family. Charles was born on November 7th 1944 in Burlington, VT, the son of Charles Russell Sr., and Edna Russell (LaForce). He married the love of his life, Diane Hayes, on April 13th 1973. Charles was a hardworking man, doing construction work for the majority of his working life. He also was an Army Veteran, serving our country during the Vietnam war. Back at home, Charles was known to love his friends and family deeply. He is described as giving the shirt off his back to those in need. The family wants to express how much they love Charles and how they will miss him every day. He is survived by: his wife Diane Russell, his children, Charles (Renee) Russell III of Milton, Joshua Russell and fiancé Tiffany Ritchie of Essex, Edna Russell of MA, Kenneth Bailey Jr. of Colchester, Diane LeClair of Milton and Stephen Galyean of Highgate; his sisters, Shirley Young of Essex, Charlene Billings of Colchester and Juanita Bailey of Burlington; his brother Thomas Russell of Hinesburg; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his brothers Bobby Russell, Donald Russell and sister Blanche Bailey. A graveside service will take place later this Spring.
