Carroll Cubit

Hyde Park -- Carroll Edward Cubit, 94, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family.

He was born on March 2^nd, 1928, the son of Edward and Floadys (Wells) Cubit.

Carroll married the love of his life, Barbara (McAllister) on July 16^th, 1950, at the First Congregational Church of North Hyde Park.

He was an Engineer at IBM, working on design. Carroll was a lover of the outdoors, spending much of his time fishing and hunting. Many hours were also spent maple sugaring. He was described as a family man, loving them with all his heart and would do anything for anyone.  

He is survived by his children; Brian (Rose) Cubit, Bruce (Carlene) Cubit and Brenda Cubit. His grandchildren; Bruce Daniel, Jayme, Jeff, Carroll, Matt, Megan and Marissa, his 12 great-grandchildren and his sisters-in-law; Dolly Cubit, Rachel Cubit and Marge Graves.

Carroll is predeceased by his mother, Floadys Cubit, his father, Edward Cubit, his siblings; Sarah Bundy, Levi Cubit, Percy Cubit, Gwendolyn Slicer, Dick Cubit, Thelma Delisle, Bill Cubit and Floreta Lanpher.

A private graveside service will take place at Pleasantview Cemetery in Morrisville, VT later this Spring.
