Listen to Obituary

Beverly Ann Commo, 70, of Milton, passed away on December 11, 2025. She was born on February 2, 1955, in Burlington, Vermont, to Sonny and Shirley Gover.

The word that best describes Beverly is hardworking. Whether she was on the job or caring for her family, she was always moving, always giving her full effort, and never shied away from responsibility. Work was something she took pride in, and she carried that same dedication into every part of her life.

Beverly met the love of her life, Frederick Commo Jr., on a blind date shortly after he returned home from military service. That first meeting led to a 51-year marriage and the birth of their son, Stephen. Just one month before their wedding, Beverly began working as a machinist at Lavallee & Hyde, where she remained for 25 years. She later continued her career at Triangle Metal Fabrication, adding 26 more years in the same trade. Even at the end of her working life, Beverly was still doing what she had always done best, showing up, working hard, and taking care of her people.

When she was not at work, Beverly’s greatest joy was being a wife, mother, and sister. She was steady, dependable, and deeply devoted to her family.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Frederick Commo Jr.; her son, Stephen (Sheri Lou) Commo; her granddaughters, Brooke Commo and Emily Commo; as well as many siblings, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Beverly was predeceased by her parents, Sonny and Shirley Gover.

A celebration of life will be held in the spring of 2026. Details will be announced at a later date.
