  • Bernard Charles LaFromboise Sr. (Bunny) of Fairfax Vermont passed away on Monday, July 27, 2026 at the age of 90 years old. He was born on January 18, 1936 in Williston, VT

Bunny was a beloved child of Rene and Hazel LaFromboise and grew up in Burlington, VT.

Bunny was a truck driver for 27 years then finished his career working at IBM.

He will be remembered for his unwavering love for his wife, Marguerite of 72 years and his unconditional love of six children, 19 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 8 great great grand children.

Bunny was a very kind man. Everyone who knew him loved him. He was passionate about fishing, hunting, trapping, bowling, singing karaoke on Friday nights with his friends and going to the casinos.

Bunny was a charter member of the Fraternal Order of Eagle #4218 in Milton for 37 years.

He is survived by his wife, Marguerite of Fairfax, son Bernard LaFromboise Jr and his wife Tammy of Essex, Daughter Laura Raymond and her husband , Skip of Milton, Son, Paul LaFromboise and his wife Melodie of Colchester, Daughter Karen Lavigne and her husband Tracy of St. Albans, Son Mike LaFromboise and his wife Tammie of Isle La Motte and Son-in-law , Claude Ellingwood, Sr. of New Hampshire.

He is survived by his siblings, Teresa Blair, Marie LaFromboise, Francis LaFromboise, and Joe LaFromboise.

He is predeceased by his daughter, Sherry Ellingwood, parents Rene and Hazel LaFromboise, brothers Giles Sr, and Rene LaFromboise, sisters, Patricia Eldred and Valerie Drummond and seven brother-in-law's and seven sister in-laws.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 3rd at Minor Funeral Home in Milton VT from 2 to 5 followed by a Celebration of Life at the Eagles Club at 42 Centre Dr in Milton 6 to 9. We encourage you to share your wonderful stories about him at that time
